Sydney Schrader is a Californian artist who lives and works in New York. The exhibition for Gallery Weekend 2025 will attempt to show the full range of her practice. Schrader develops her works out of a reflection on bodies and space, as sculpture and painting. Thus, they address immanent social and spatial movements and conditions, such as balance, support or being supported, gravity, flatness, proximity and distance.
