In her photographic and sculptural works, Sinta Werner explores how space is continually reconstituted through material, light, and movement. Her starting points are often architectural structures and modernist systems of order, whose geometric clarity she takes up, displaces, and transposes into new spatial contexts.

Glass plays a particular role here: as material, tool, and optical filter, it generates transparency, reflection, and overlay, dissolving seemingly unambiguous perspectives. Where the modernist grid of the mid-twentieth century promised rationality and unshakeable stability, Werner’s works reclaim the embodied, situational perspective. Only through walking in the space, through shifts in eye level, do the rigid systems dissolve, and space becomes a processual experience for the viewer.
