Working with photography as an expanded, process-oriented medium, Alexi-Meskhishvili approaches the image as inherently unstable. Rather than freezing a moment in time, she understands photography as an unfolding process that both reveals and conceals. Her practice moves fluidly between analogue and digital techniques, where gestures of intervention and transformation remain visible. Within these shifting procedures, objects, materials, and traces of the process itself enter into temporary arrangements that resist fixed readings and remain open.
