Jonas Weichsel & Michael Stoeber at Oldenburger Kunstverein

The conversation between art critic Michael Stoeber and painter Jonas Weichsel was recorded in Weichsel’s solo exhibition „Debatte“ at Oldenburger Kunstverein. The artist speaks about the connections between his different paintings and about his conceptual and ultra-precise paintings as an almost reactionary counter-moment to today’s maximum acceleration and consumption of pictorial material online, where an image is no longer current after the next mouse click. Opening on the 18^th of February, Jonas Weichsel will present his new series of  Interstellar Paintings in the Corner Space of Galerie Thomas Schulte.
