The list is out!
We are delighted to celebrate Berlin’s vivid and eclectic gallery scene with the 22nd edition of Gallery Weekend Berlin. From Friday, 1 May, to Sunday, 3 May, 50 galleries across the city will open their doors, presenting more than 80 artistic positions and exhibitions at 63 locations.
In 2026, Perspectives debuts as a new sector, inviting a rotating selection of galleries each year to present extraordinary exhibition projects and outstanding artistic positions.
A diverse selection of outstanding exhibitions captures the energy and uniqueness of Berlin’s art world, bringing together internationally acclaimed artists, new discoveries, and historically significant work. Highlights include Petrit Halilaj at ChertLüdde, Daniel Buren at Konrad Fischer Galerie, Tauba Auerbach at Esther Schipper, Thomas Demand at Sprüth Magers, Yuji Agematsu at Galerie Buchholz, and Rodney McMillian at Capitain Petzel.
Alongside these established figures, a strong selection of emerging artists will be presented, including Brook Hsu (Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler), Wynnie Mynerva (Société), Vivien Zhang (Galerie Hetzler), Travis MacDonald(Contemporary Fine Arts), and Brett Charles Seiler (Galerie EIGEN + ART). Interdisciplinary artists Stella Zhong (Trautwein Herleth) and Adam Gordon (Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi) will be exhibiting in Germany for the first time.
Younger galleries continue to strengthen their presence within the city’s art landscape, including Lukas Quietzsch (Schiefe Zähne), Hanna Stiegeler (Sweetwater), Josefine Reisch und Miriam Umiń (Galerie Noah Klink), and Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili (Galerie Molitor).
