Tyra Tingleff lives and works between Oslo and Berlin. She graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, with a Master’s in Painting in 2013 after studing at The Royal Academy of Art, Copenhagen and The National Academy of the Arts Bergen.

At ChertLüdde, Tingleff will present a new series of abstract paintings that explore the fluidity of matter through experimental techniques. These works invite interpretation through a lens of speculation and doubt, challenging conventional readings of form and intent. On the occasion of the exhibition, a new chapbook by Tess Brown-Lavoie will be presented.

Sandra Poulson is an Angolan interdisciplinary artist whose practice engages with the political, cultural, and socio-economic landscape of Angola as a critical case study. Her work explores the intersections of history, oral tradition, and global political structures, with a particular focus on approaches emerging from the ‘Near-South’.
ChertLüdde will present Poulson’s 2023 installation Dust as an Accidental Gift, originally produced for the Sharjah Architecture Triennial (2023). The work offers a forensic view of the pervasive dust in Luanda, Angola. Shaped by the country’s colonial past, this dust functions both as a livelihood-sustaining commodity—through the labor dedicated to its removal—and as a symbol of class division within the city’s socio-economic, political, cultural, and built environment.
