Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi is pleased to announce Now we are on Easy Street, the first exhibition at the gallery by American artist Marc Kokopeli. The exhibition presents a new group of television-sculptures, most of which, stage scenes populated by figures bearing a strong resemblance to a crudely animated popular TV show. Contrary to the implicit controversy surrounding these characters, Kokopeli’s stop motion cutout aesthetic implies a more militarised apathy, comparable to present day exhibitionists, or perhaps, a viewer switching channels.

Biography:
Marc Kokopeli (*1987) lives and works in New York.
